While the point of sales remains at the center of the shopping experience, customers want a rich, unique and innovative experience.
It is in this context that our French luxury brand addresses the needs of the market by linking technology and in-store experience through Click & Collect and E-reservation services.
Anycommerce's solution on the brand side:
Thanks to Anycommerce's SaaS / API platform, the modules Click & Collect and E-Reservation were incorporated to existing IT systems, in compliance with internal standards.
In E-reservation, point of sale advisors play a key role. They come at the end of the process. It is thanks to them that the customer's buying journey is considered complete and successful.
The Click & Collect option is aimed at customers for whom the need of advice or reassurance is less strong. For them, a successful shopping experience is a simple and efficient one.
In this case, data collected via the Front interfaces are received in the Anycommerce OMS and then transmitted to the stores to prepare the arrival of the customer.
The different customer journeys:
After logging on to the website and selecting his product, the customer chooses one of the two options, Click & Collect or E-Reservation.
The E-Reservation enables the customer to block a product before going to the store. That way, he ensures its availability. It is in store, after having seen and handled the product, that the customer will make the payment.
In the Click & Collect option, the purchase is made online, and the customer only has to pick it up in store. This option is often chosen because it saves a lot of time (no need to wait anymore).
In the pickup in store option, the buying process continues until the online payment is made. In case of reservation, the customer can choose the store of his choice and the time slot that suits him.
